A Royal Legacy, Reimagined
The Grand Mahal began its journey as a private residence of the Rathore family, one of Jaipur's distinguished noble families. Built in the early 20th century in the Indo-Saracenic style, the property was lovingly converted into a boutique heritage hotel in 1995 by Thakur Bhupendra Singh Rathore, who envisioned sharing his ancestral home's grandeur with travelers from around the world.
Located just 500 metres from the iconic Hawa Mahal, The Grand Mahal blends old-world Rajasthani charm with modern luxury. Every corridor tells a story — from the hand-painted frescoes and jharokha windows to the antique furniture curated from royal collections.
