3. Audio and Pitch Detection

PianoTeacher uses your device microphone during practice sessions to detect musical pitch in real time. Audio is used for note-detection functionality and practice feedback. We do not sell your audio data.

We use information to:

  • Authenticate your account and maintain your session.
  • Deliver lesson progress tracking and personalized learning insights.
  • Compute streaks, points, levels, and achievements.
  • Send reminders and product-related notifications where enabled.
  • Improve app reliability, quality, and user experience.

PianoTeacher uses trusted backend infrastructure, including Supabase services (authentication, database, and serverless functions) and supporting communication providers for notifications/emails where applicable.

7. Data Retention and Account Deletion

We retain data only as needed to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. Users may request account and associated data deletion using the in-app/web deletion request link.

PianoTeacher is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
